What to say, where to start?
Semi productive day. I tackled the inbox, and projects associated with, which normally produces a feeling of accomplishment. Hubs and I watched Narnia: Prince Caspian this evening, which was much better than I expected. I hope they continue with the series. Facebook apparently went nuts today with all the inauguration stuff, and the stock market must have sensed it and decided to drop umpteen points. I’m not a big stock market follower, but I just want it to be steady, because it means people will spend money. And as the owner of a consumable products company, we need them to spend money.
It looks like, though, that we may be in for a doozy of a year. I can be the pessimist, I know, but as I tell the hubs, I’d rather be realistic than unprepared. All these people that are hopeful, are hopeful why? I’m not feeling it. We just inaugurated a guy who has very little experience, and some pretty unrealistic ideals (in my humble opinion). He wants to raise my taxes and pull jobs away from my friends. I don’t get it.
Back to the grindstone tomorrow. I have a doctor’s appointment in the morning and a full inbox again in the afternoon.
Every day, I read other people’s blogs. It’s a little voyeuristic, I’ll admit. I’m astonished at what people are willing to share with the whole world sometimes, and I admire them for their strength. It takes a lot of courage to open yourself up for that much critique.
So, I’m just going to try. Not promising anything but effort. Substance may or may not be a byproduct of the effort. If you’re lucky, I’ll throw in a few pics as well.
